UCSC Dining Hall Hours:

Crown/Merrill Dining Hall: Open 7 days/week 7AM–8PM

If an electric power outage occurs on campus, students can go to College Nine/John R. Lewis Dining Hall for dine-in service or Rachel Carson/Oakes Dining Hall for to-go meals.

The Crown/Merrill Dining Hall is open for summer through Thursday, August 8. On Friday, August 9, summer dining service will move to the College Nine/John R. Lewis Dining Hall for the remainder of summer quarter.

Students attending Summer Session classes and living in UCSC residence halls can use your Summer Session Slug Points meal plan at all UCSC Dining locations, including Crown/Merrill Dining Hall, Merrill Market, Global Village Cafe, Slug Stop, and Perk Coffee Bars. Paying with Slug Points is easy – just use your student ID card or the GET app on your mobile device.

Not feeling well? Stay home and get a “Buddy Meal”

If you are sick or injured, you can ask a friend, roommate, or your RA to pick up a Buddy Meal to-go box from the dining hall. The person picking up a Buddy Meal will need to bring your student ID card as well as their own, and tell the cashier that a Buddy Meal is needed. Learn more »
