Our Commitment
We are committed to more than great food—we prioritize the planet, student success, and social responsibility. From healthy, inclusive menus to food access programs and waste reduction efforts, we’re here to nourish our campus community with purpose.

Responsible Sourcing and Quality
At UCSC Dining, we serve fresh, high-quality food with a focus on nutrition, sustainability, and local partnerships. We aim to support student wellbeing and our community with every meal.

Dietary Needs and Allergies
Whether you have a food allergy, religious food preferences, a vegan/vegetarian diet, or simply need assistance with your food selections, we can provide the resources to help you make delicious choices, safely and easily.

How to Get a Meal When Sick or Injured
The Buddy Meal Program is designed to provide dining hall meals to sick and injured students who are unable to leave their residences for health reasons.

Food Security
UCSC is committed to making sure every student has access to nutritious food. From accepting SNAP EBT at campus markets to providing meal support through Basic Needs, Slug Support, and the Swipes for Slugs program, there are resources in place to help students facing food insecurity.
